Bringing the project bikes out for the 2009 season, Chispa is hosting a show and shine contest to bring in exciting scoots from around the northern sound, including Bellingham, Victoria, Seattle, Vancouver, and all the towns in between. The event will have the contest, rides, food and entertainment in conjunction with Dirty Dan Days in Fairhaven.  There will be events Saturday and Sunday.
Special prizes to the best steam punk scooter (think Victorian not rat)!!

Our main venue on July 4th will be at Saratoga Springs Resort in the Santa Cruz foothills that will have open swim pool, kid activities, dunk tank plus scooter vendors / tech sessions/gymkhana/slow ride/concourse and a catered bbq dinner. There will also be unlimited beer and wine for the day and evening.

Be sure to show up early Thursday for a great scenic and challenging ride over Mt Hamilton and through the San Antonio Valley. 365 turns over 19 miles just to get to the top!

Once again your mother will be shaking her head wondering where she went wrong raising you. This time, a weekend of music, beer, rides, sour cream and chives. I’m mainly filling space because we are still in planning stages. One thing is for sure, Sunday of Insanity, the convoy to AMERIVESPA, San Jose! Those who wish may join the convoy, the Rode Trip Riot, as we cruise to Portland, then down the North California Coast. Itinerary and routes to come soon, let the pant wetting commence! Stay tuned…

TPS….The Patrick Swayze! Schedule your long weekend right now for the best camping rally in the world…EVER! Always way more Classic than Plastic. Bring your Advil and your appetite for pain. Inland Invsion 5 located north of Coeur d’Alene in incredible Farragut State Park, near the shores of breathtaking Lake Pend O’rielle. Camping kicks off Thursday the 25th for early birds who wanna help set up, everyone else arrives Friday. As always, hella cheap rally packs that include a patch, your camping fees, Friday night dinner, Sat morn breakfast, Sun morn breakfast, and as much beer as you can possibly injest.
