Hamster Run V, 2010 Rally Itinerary ~ Hosted by the S.O.B. and 2-UP Clubs 7/23-7/25
7/23 Friday 6pm – meet and greet @ Chuckanut Brewery 601 W. Holly St. in old town. Burgers, Dogs, and award winning brew for a bargain price in the outside beer garden area.
8:30 – an evening ride will depart to take in some of the sunset, and end up at 20th Century Lanes 1411 N. State St. for bowling.
7/24 Saturday 9am-10:30 – meet and greet in Fairhaven, corner of Harris Ave, and 12th St., abandoned gas station, rally packs for sale, coffee and snacks provided.
10:30 – First ride departs and includes scenic Chuckanut Drive and a Lake Samish loop and ends up back in Fairhaven for a lunch break. Many great restaurants within walking distance.
1:30 – Long ride will depart from Harris and 12th in Fairhaven and will take in some curves east of Bellingham to the foothills of Mt. Baker and back. This ride is approximately 3 hours with two breaks / gas stops and will end at Market Depot on Railroad Ave in downtown Bellingham. Time for everyone to chill out before the evenings festivities.
6:30pm – Food and beverage – a south of the border theme, provided by the S.O.B.s at Jeff and Marys place off Yew St. Rd. – Camping is available at this location, evening events include a slow race, games, raffle, prizes and bonn fire along with some great company.
Sunday 7/25 – 9-10:30am Breakfast gathering fixed price/menu location TBA. Anyone interested in one last ride the group will head south to Skagit county and back after breakfast, time TBA.
