Our next mid-week evening ride will be Wednesday, April 18, departing from Boundary Bay Brewery at 7pm. Come join us at 6 to grab a beer.
March Meeting Location
March 27th, 2007
Our meeting location for this month – we’ll be trying out “Our House Deli” – 2301 James Street, two blocks south of Alabama Street, same time 10am and ride to follow.
Reminder; It’s dues collection time, please bring $20.00 cash or check made out to “Scooters of Bellingham” to the meeting and Dorcie and or Tom will collect. The dues help seed our Rally costs, and if you don’t have one already you’ll get a cool club patch and sticker for your scoot.
The ride will be the Samish, Bow Hill, back up Chuckanut loop.
Another new scooter club forming
March 2nd, 2007
Another scooter club is getting off the ground in Bellingham, FiftyCCFun. They plan on meeting the first Saturday of the month at Chispa in Fairhaven at 10am, but their first meeting/ride is March 10. They welcome all scooter types and will limit rides to 40mph roads to accomodate smaller displacement scooters.

Our regular breakfast meeting spot has sadly decided to stop serving breakfast, so we’re in the hunt for a new spot. If you’d like to make any suggestions, let us know.
SOB Holiday Party

Join the SOBs Thursday, December 28 at Todd and Dorcie’s house (1206 Woburn) for some winter celebration. Two kinds of soup/stew/chili (vegetarian and otherwise) and crusty bread will be provided, bring something to drink and an appetizer or dessert. Bring a guest, another scooterist, or your new baby as well. The fun starts at 6pm and will go all night long.

Lots of news today in the realm of Northwest scooter shops.
- Urbana Moto is open on Iowa Street selling Roketa scooters and fuel efficient cars.
- Chispa is open in Fairhaven selling Vespa, Schwinn, and electric scooters in addition to Segways.
- Steel Dreams in Burlington is now servicing newer Vespa scooters.
- ScooterMD in Vancouver has indefinitely stopped servicing scooters and is focusing on their new web store Fastuff. They have also started a Victoria outlet run by Ian Rossiter doing minor servicing and stocking some parts.
